Bernard Zimmerman (April 22, 1930 - June 4, 2009) was an influential Mid-Century modern architect and an educator at the College of Environmental Design at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona for more than thirty years. ==Early life and career== Zimmerman was born in Cleveland, California. In 1953 he earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from the UC Berkeley School of Architecture,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=In Memoriam: Bernard Zimmerman )〕 and in 1955 he earned his master's degree from the University of Southern California(USC).
